Alpaca Everyday Socks – Plain
Alpaca Everyday Socks are designed for everyday wear in your shoes and footwear, they are super-soft, comfortable and lightweight making them a perfect selection for all year and all seasons. We have a stunning collection of colours and sizes making them a very popular choice.
Alpaca fibre is hard-wearing and provides excellent insulation and great wicking (breathing) properties, which ensures your feet remain dry and warm. Alpaca socks are highly recommended for sufferers with conditions such as chilblains, arthritis, Raynaud’s, diabetics or simply bad circulation. You’ll be amazed at the difference between our socks in comparison to other wools as alpaca fibre is stronger than mohair, finer than cashmere, smoother than silk, softer than cotton and warmer than goose down.
This clever fibre is unusual in that it resists odours and moisture, therefore our socks do not need washing after every wear making them a sustainable and environmentally friendly option. Made in England using traditional sock making methods with hand-linked seams for comfort. Our coloured socks are dyed using a sustainable dyeing process.
Everyday socks are also available in contrast and stripy styles.
Our alpaca called Caramac, as a cria (baby alpaca), is the alpaca face on our everyday sock labels!

Care: machine wash on low temperature, low/no spin speed, wool cycle or hand wash.

Whilst writing I must point out that my husband has worn the socks I bought from the show nearly every day hence my order to buy some more pairs.

I phoned last Friday for 3 pairs of socks at about lunchtime and on Saturday before lunch I received your beautifully wrapped parcel from the postman. I had bought 3 pairs of same socks from a shop 10 years ago and I have worn them every winter with my Boots & walking shoes and its only now they are looking very thin on the heels- Wonderful socks.

I just wanted to get in touch to say a huge thank you for your wonderful socks. My husband recently set himself a challenge to walk from the New Forest (where we live) to Bath (where we used to live). It’s a distance of 55 miles.
He attempted this challenge 12 years ago and sadly had to give up at 32 miles due to horrendous blisters. He was wearing cotton running socks.
This time though he wore a pair of your Everyday Socks and a pair of your Sports Socks. On the first day he walked 41 miles and completed the last 14 miles the following day. And guess what…. NO BLISTERS! Not a single one. Pretty sore shins though and extremely tired.
So thank you – your wonderful socks have given my lovely 46 year old husband renewed interest in setting himself ridiculous but worthwhile challenges. 🙂
