Alpaca Pillows are naturally the best for a great night’s sleep!
Alpaca fibre is naturally anti-allergenic and hypoallergenic. Our pillows offer a balance between support and comfort, working with your internal thermostat to keep you at a comfortable temperature all night. The cool and dry environment created with the use of such a fibre makes it difficult for dust mites to live and breed. These highly breathable pillows are the perfect choice for sufferers of allergies, such as asthma. Our pillows contain alpaca fleece only – there are no other wool or fibres added.
Every year, at our Alpaca Farm, our alpacas are sheared and their wonderful fleece is sorted into various grades. The alpaca fibre that is too coarse for our knitting yarns is cleaned and brushed out and then used for the stuffing in pillows, duvets and mattress toppers. The pillows have a ‘natural’ spring to the filling, they are not lumpy and will mould to your head shape. The natural, white, cotton cover is high quality with a smooth finish, the pillows are sourced and made in the UK – please support us by buying British!
Our standard pillows are available from stock and are presented in a lovely cotton calico bag with The Alpaca Shop logo on it – a useful storage bag for all sorts. If you select a king size or square pillow, these will be made on demand and can take up to two weeks to be delivered.
Our alpaca pillows benefit from a gentle plumping daily and periodically they can be dry-cleaned if required.

Our Standard pillow measures 72cm x 46cm (28” x 18”)
Our King Size Pillow measures 89cm x 46cm (35” x 18”).
Our Square pillow measures 65cm x 65cm (25.5” x 25.5”)
Any other size can be made to order.

Pillow Protectors
Alpaca fibre is a natural product and works best alongside other natural products. With the alpaca pillow you can increase its life and keep it fresher for longer by using a cotton pillow protector – as well as your usual pillowcase of course. Our pillow protectors are made from 100% cotton, this allows your alpaca pillow to breath effectively. The protectors are anti-bacterial and dust mite resistant. They have a zipped closure so that you can fully enclose your pillow and better keep its shape. The pillow protector is for pillow size 72 x 46cm, and the protector is machine washable at 30 degrees.

Hi, I ordered these pillows a few months ago, and have been waiting a decent amount of time before reviewing. I opted for medium support factor. Previously, I’ve had quite soft pillows and have always had to have more than one to sleep on. With these pillows, I only need one to sleep on as it is quite high but that suits me. However, the two that have been ordered make for perfect support when sitting up in bed and reading etc, when propped against the wall. The pillows are super and I have really slept well on them. We used them camping for a week and it made that experience so much better too. Would definitely recommend 🙂
