British Alpaca Mattress Toppers – a perfect layer of comfort and warmth.
Our latest range of naturally fire-retardant Alpaca mattress toppers are the result of years of testing and refining processes to produce the ultimate topper. Filled with 100% Alpaca fleece that helps regulate body temperature, the covers are a high quality cream-coloured woven herringbone fabric. They are made to order, so you should allow up to two weeks for delivery.
The toppers have been designed to provide an affordable solution to natural wear, and work to revitalise any mattress, offering a balance between support and luxurious comfort. What is most amazing is that when you hop into a cold bed your topper quickly becomes warming, completely naturally!
Alpaca bedding works with your internal thermostat to keep you at a comfortable temperature all night. Alpaca fibre is naturally anti-allergenic. The cool, dry environment created with the use of such a fibre makes it difficult for dust mites to live and breed. Our mattress toppers are the perfect choice for sufferers of allergies such as asthma.
The topper adds a very comfortable layer to your mattress – approximately 2.5cm (1″) of lovely alpaca fleece, when puffed up. We can make thicker box toppers to order if you would like.
Every year, on our Alpaca Farm, our alpacas are sheared and their wonderful fleece is sorted into various grades. The alpaca fibre that is not fine enough for our knitting yarns, is cleaned and brushed out and used for the stuffing in duvets, pillows and mattress toppers.
Our toppers are sourced and made in the UK and are approved by the Vegetarian Society. Each topper comes complete in its own cotton sack which is great for storage!

I have a memory foam mattress and it makes us hot and sticky! A friend recommended putting your alpaca topper over it as this would allow temperature regulation. I have to say, it’s brilliant! Cool nights for us now! Many thanks Jane, Kent
