Description
Alpaca Gentle Grip Socks
Gentle Grip alpaca socks are for those who prefer a gentle grip to fit the contour of your leg comfortably. These socks are sometimes called ‘loose or soft top’ socks. The construction of the rib sock was invented in 1960 by I & R Morley as a sock that will stay up without the use of elastic. They are ideal if the top elasticated grip of a normal sock causes discomfort and if you suffer from blood circulation problems.
We stock a beautiful range of natural alpaca colours. The coloured socks are dyed using a natural sustainable process therefore an eco-friendly product. We do not blend other types of wool or acrylic into our socks, the composition is 55% Alpaca and only 45% nylon is then added to ensure elasticity.
Alpaca fibre is hard-wearing and provides excellent insulation and great wicking (breathing) properties which ensures your feet remain dry and warm. They resist odours and moisture thus should not need washing after every wear!
Care: machine washable on low temperature, low/no spin speed, wool cycle or hand wash.
Fleurie, one of our lovely chestnut brown alpacas, is the alpaca face on our Gentle Grip sock labels!
All lovingly made in England.
